Walked around the park for about 2.5 hours. Took my pup with me too. The rides were not open due to the time is year but it was still a lot of fun.

The park is historic and pet friendly! We were lucky to catch a good weather day in Feb 2017 to enjoy the park and were able to walk our dog across the Royal Gorge Bridge. There are more activities available in warmer weather, but we did enjoy just seeing the bridge and the gorge.

Since reopening and remodeling the park, this is such a great place to visit. The new visitors center is up-to-date and shows a wonderful history of the canon. A trip across the canon, walking or by gondola, is worth the experience. It's a long, long way down to the river and the views are tremendous. You can spend as much... More

The bridge was amazing! Covered in snow and ice, just brilliant. And the views...what can I say. The walk over the bridge is so well worth it. The theater on the other side is interesting, along with the short film explaining the making of the bridge and the recent fire. The gondola was not working due to ice on the... More

Great drive from Canon City up to the attraction. You can see the bridge from a few look outs but the full effect of the amazing view requires entering the park at a cost of $22 per person. For someone who does not want the carnival/ amusement access, this seems a bit unfair to those who want to just see... More

My daughter flew us into Fremont Airport so we could visit the Royal Gorge on my 40th birthday. We really enjoyed our visit!

The view was great. Loved it. Would go back again. The old train sitting outside the center was also interesting.

Awesome day trip down to the Royal Gorge Bridge. Walked over the bride with friends, we took our time. The views from the bridge, looking down is breathtaking. When the cars drive over its fun looking through the boards below. Half of my group did the cable car and liked it. I did the zip line and loved it. Highest... More

Amazing architecture and great views. Make sure you visit the museum and watch the short video about the fire.
