My sister and I visited here on a warm(ish) day in January. We had a great time and were virtually the only ones in the park. We rode the gondola several times and walked across the bridge, taking many great photos (again we were the only ones on the bridge) The theater had a very informative movie about the gorge... More

It's amazing. We love the cable car rides. We haven't had a chance to ride the zip lines but We will come back on summer time to do the zip lines.

The Royal Gorge is a stunning bridge that is above the Arkansas River. The views are stunning on both sides of the bridge. They operate a cart to take you from one side to the other if you are not able to walk. They also have lot of activities like gondola rides and zip line activities. Beware they operate the... More

We not only visited the Royal Gorge Bridge which is impressive and fun. Nice visitors center as well. But we also stayed at the Bighorn Mountain Top Lodge. It is operated by the Royal Gorge Park. It is a three bedroom/two bath beautiful lodge/home perched on the cliff overlooking the gorge. The views are amazing. You can see the bridge... More

Wow! Wonderful park spanning a DEEEEEP gorge. We took the Gondola across three times! Walked across the bridge once...that was scary enough for me. The views can't be beat and the price is very reasonable. I love that they offer kennels for your dogs!

I have been here a few times. I don't believe they will let you drive across the bridge anymore. That was quite an experience. However walking it is pretty darn cool too. They have a tram that is fun to ride also. There is a stairway down to the rivers edge. Tourist shop with tons of items to ponder upon.... More

The bridge is impressive ! We rode the Aerial Gondola that crosses over the Canon, amazing view, then we walk the bridge back. The bridge is long and display all the states flags, it was really fun to take a few pics there!

I went there as a kid and took my kids this time. It's still beautiful. The only thing I missed is the deer that use to walk around everywhere there but I guess the fires scared them off a few years ago

Jennifer, thanks for making the trip back to see us with your kiddos! We rehired all of our animals during the fire and have since replaced the area with our Tommy Knocker Play Land! More
