Beautiful drive and views from the top. Take a jacket because it can be pretty cold at that elevation.

We were only allowed to get to mile marker 13, as the rest of the way was closed due to weather. You are still above the timberline so all you see is snow and sky. The drive is amazing and beautiful but definitely an adrenaline...More

If you want to experience something amazing you must take the trip up on the cog railway to the top of Pikes Peak. Be aware that the air is very thin up there but if you can get over that you will have the most...More

Took me 30 years to get back there but worth the wait! The views are great and there are many spots to park and look around. Don't forget to bring something warm to wear at the top, There was some construction going on at the...More

This is a half-to-full day hike from the Barr Trail. Not for the untrained, however. The loss of the Cog Railway is disappointing but it should be rebuilt (hopefully) in the next two years. If you drive, it is not fully paved and a lot...More

We got into the park a little late and it was quite overcast. This made for a different view, kind of kept things more intimate as the focus was closer. However, even in clouds, driving a 14er (14,115 feet) is still not for the weak...More

Took some family. members that had never been here, took our four door 4x4 truck and went all the way to the top the views were amazing, though it was rather cold that time if the year everything was great.

December 26 on a clear day. Was able to drive to the top. Great views and not as scary as far as driving with no guardrails. Just be careful and take it slow. Beautiful ride.

Absolutely breathtaking! Unfortunately I could only make it to mile marker 14 of 19 due to high winds. But still absolutely amazing.

We just got back 2 days ago. There is NOT a shuttle during this part of the year. Look on trip advisor and find a “tour”. Many locals do tours and will take you up Pikes Peak. Another thing to remember most likely you... More

When we visited Pike's Peak in September, the shuttle was not in service. I am not certain if it is operational yet.
