I have attended several events at the Castle, from a Volunteer Appreciation breakfast to afternoon tea. This is a beautiful building but you need to take a driving trip of the grounds as well. When Palmer created Colorado Springs, he built this castle for his wife, Queen. She never liked the wild west and spent most of her time back... More

Our bus group came here as a concluding activity for our tour...a mystery dinner fit for a king! It was a huge hit. We were shown a video and provided an overview about the founder as well as the current tenants, the Navigators. They are a group of Christians with very noble goals for how the property is to be... We took an hour-and-a-half tour of the castle and grounds. The history behind the construction of the complex, along with the history of the family that built it, is fascinating. Even the story about how the Navigators came to own the property is interesting. Well worth the price of admission. But make sure to plan ahead and make reservations. It's... More

Wonderful experience for our family this fall. We went in August 2016 and enjoyed a tea with lunch and then a tour of the castle that gave us a full day here. Glen Eyrie offers overnight packages and event packages. The history is rich and the new owners, The Navigators, do an excellent job telling the story and preserving what... More

We took the tour for the first time and it is really neat. So much history of the castle and Colorado Spring. Take yourself or your kids on their birthday and the tour guide will let you ring the bell that was used to warn the residents in CSprings of fires. It can be heard throughout the entire valley!

We were in Colorado for doctor appointments, traveling from Oklahoma. A friend recommended Glen Eyrie. We had no idea what wonderful surprise awaited us! SO glad we booked a room here. We stayed in one of the lodge rooms the first night. VERY RUSTIC. No TV, basic room. GREAT PRICE and even better view! We only planned to stay one... More

Recommend the tour and tea highly. The location is awesome and the tea is just lovely. The tour is very nice. The house is wonderfully appointed and the history is interesting. The Glen hosts a number of spiritually oriented seminars and retreats. Well worth the time and expense if you are so inclined.

We were totally blown away by the natural beauty, the bighorn sheep that let us take their photograph, and the tours. Irene led the Rock Tour for our group of 7 and pointed out the amazing geological formations, fossils in sandstone, and encouraged us to make educated beliefs for ourselves based on evidence... vs just parroting what we've heard. Very... More
