This is the best park in Colorado Springs! It has everything we need, a large playground, a skate park, shade, picnic tables, a trail and a beautiful pond right in the middle of it. I know they have an indoor pool and stuff too but...More

I've been down to this park a few times and it would be a great place except that it borders a very seedy part of town. There's been a couple instances of shootings so I'm just going to avoid taking my family there.

This park has something for everyone from the swimming pool, to Prospect Lake, to big open space. This park is so large you can just sit, and relax, or engage in the many things people do at this park. Then come Labor Day always a...More

Memorial Park is aptly named for the humbling firefighter's memorial in the North West corner. (there is an annual ceremony held there that is quite impressive) The skate park is awesome and my kids love spending HOURS there. We also play youth sports and most...More

Went here for the #labordayliftoff and nicely surprised how nice the park is done. Very clean and compact with lots of parking. A pleasant green space to stroll around and reconnect with the outdoors.

Picture opportunities during events like the balloon festival and Dragon Boat Festival. Skatepark is another awesome place to take photos if you have an ultra-wide lens.

Colorado Springs has done a lot to improve public safety by taking care of its vagrant problem, but it still presents issues, and there are safer places to go in town (Palmer Park, for example).

Memorial Park is worth a visit during most of the special events that take place there (balloon festival, Scottish festival, etc), but I wouldn't go there otherwise. Grounds can be poorly maintained and much of the surrounding neighborhood really isn't safe.

A great place for the kids to romp and they also have music on Thursday nights. There is also a shuttle stop here to bring you into the town free.
