This week I spent my 44th birthday at Copper Mountain with a few close friends. We signed up for a Woodward course, thinking we'd get some tips on our technique. Under the fantastic guidance of coach Mattie Wade, we ended up jumping ramps, boxes, rainbows, and learning "air awareness" through some audacious situations. Mattie gave us the confidence that we... I have passed by Woodward many times but never stepped foot in the "barn" until my boys (8 and 11 yrs) caught wind of it. It pretty much has it all for kids who want to ski, board, scooter or skate (mostly on wheels that can be rented). The trampoline section is pretty awesome too for kids who don't want... More

Our little one did not participate, but we watched some competitions that the Woodward kids presented. We were simply amazed. We can't wait to go back when our guy is older so he can have the Woodward experience!

Spent Christmas time at Copper Mountain with our family and absolutely loved it. The overall Copper experience was great, but the highlight for our young boys was a visit to "The Barn" at Woodward Copper. The indoor facility is likely the best we've seen with ramps, bowls, trampolines, and foam pits for the kids to perfect their skateboarding and snowboarding... More

The kids can expand their skiing or snow boarding skills indoors at woodward. With an expansive indoor extreme sport facility the kids can try tricks in a safe environment.

Woodward (The Barn) is a pretty unique place. There are numerous skate ramps for practicing pool work, slope work, and half pipe. There is a Small/Medium/Large ramp that ends in a foam pit for folks to practice their ski or snowboard jumps on specially made skis/snowboards with wheels. To top it off, there is a trampoline section for parkour related... More

Our first try at Woodward. What else can kids do indoors and have a blast in Summit County for $20 for six hours? I took them in and paid, and then went trout fishing for 5 hours. Came back and they wanted to stay to close the place down. Employees were very nice and helpfull. Excellent indoor facility. I saw... More

My 14-year-old son loved the Barn! We paid for an intro session and another open-gym session. He tried out the snowboards with wheels, jumping into the foam pits; the trampolines; and the the skateboard ramps. Loved it all!

My 9 year old son just finished a week at Camp Woodward as a day camper. He has been skating for about a year and is obsessed with the sport. Unfortunately, he finished the week discouraged and not wanting to return. The kids are not separated into groups by age or level, and he was frequently teased by older campers... More

Woodward at Copper is fun but with an extremely long initiation it cuts out too much time! Woodward in Tahoe is far more fun and the people are very helpful! They act more like enthusiastic coaches!
