Denver has emerged as a foodie city. There are so many great restaurants in LoDo and neighboring RiNo that you won't go hungry.

Fun to walk around, but I'd avoid the 16th St. mall area. The renovated buildings with old-time signs painted on the sides are delightful.

It's a nice walk in LoDo shops, restaurants and bars. There are a number of old buildings with some historical architecture if you look closely. There's a closed section of street where only the mall bus runs. The bus is free so really convenient when...More

I stopped in a coffee shop in Union Station and was pleasantly surprised when the person in line in from of me had "paid it forward" and paid for my coffee!

The heartbeat & pulse of the city. So many different things to see & do. And it's incredibly CLEAN for being such a touristy area.

We were in town for a Rockies game and had some time to spare so we decided to look around. This area is quite vibrant and diverse with a little something for everyone. Shopping, fine dining, cheap eats, pubs - you name it you can...More

Many sights and shops are worth the trip into town. Nestled along the South Platte River, biking and walking are my favorite way to get around. LoDo is very tricky traffic wise with one-way streets and heavy traffic.

Great area for travelers to shop, browse and people watch. The free mall bus can get crowded but is a lifesaver for getting from one end of the mall to the other or from union station to nearby hotels.

There are many hotels near LoDo (walking distance or short Uber/Cab ride)... not so many in LoDo itself! The most affordable decent hotels will run you US$150 per room per night! I recommend that you go on Trivago and search... More
