Loved the elephants!

It was immaculate and seemed enormous. Nicely laid out for a 'circular' flow. The entire Denver area which we saw (which was limited to a 2 day stay) was incredibly clean. The... read more

I have to preface this with the fact that I use to live in San Diego and that zoo makes it difficult to go to any other in the country except Omaha's Henry Doorley Zoo. The Asian exhibit is beautiful, the horticulture is beautiful, Boo at the Zoo is very fun, dress up and go, free day for your birthday,... More

Have now visited several zoos both in America and Scotland, unfortunately , I have to say I wasn't that impressed with this one, however, perhaps I just didn't get to see it all, and it was really busy with school day trips which made seeing everything difficult. Disappointed after reading the reviews.

Alot of the animals we wanted to see were not available . Kinda disappointed but overall fun. Would have been better with the animals actually in their habit.

I go here a lot with the grandchildren and always a good time. Family pass is the best value. Recent change in the giraffe area allows "face to face" visit with these animals. Well maintained zoo and clean and easy to navigate. Only negative is searching for a parking space (go early).

I became an annual member after my first trip. This zoo is great for kids. From the carousel and train ride to the many interactive activities - a old west wagon, statues to climb on, a giant sand box and of course the animals are fun to watch and see too! Great to visit on a kids birthday they get... More

I went specifically to feed the giraffes. It's only the second day that they have Ben doing this. It was fun to do and cost $5 a person for 3 lettuce leaves. The rest of the zoo was okay. It's a little expensive to get in and only takes a few hours to get through.

Managed to find my way there using public transport (which they should really give details of on their website). Interesting array of creatures, on the whole looking happy in their enclosures. Well laid out and easy to get around - with plenty of places to buy food and drink (the latter was essential on such a hot day)

It had been a few years since we'd visited. When we were there last I believe they were just starting construction on the elephant exhibit. It looks amazing and was probably our favorite part of the zoo. The admission is a bit much all things considered and the primate exhibit was in dire need of updates. Otherwise, nice place and... For an urban zoo, this had a surprisingly diverse animal selection. It's compactness made it easy enough to get around to see everything. It was very clean and staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Parking was free, easily accessible and in ample supply.
