This is a great experience for kids and adults alike. Planetarium A+, Museum A+, Cafe A+ and you are looking out over City Park to downtown Denver and mountains. You are next to Denver Zoo. Nice water splash for kids in the summer and nice walking paths/bike paths. Public tennis courts in the park.

I have been to this museum many times with my grandchildren. They are now 12 & 14. As we left the space section, the kids said this is old and needs to be updated. We did however watch the movie the 'Black Hole'. Which we all enjoyed. It may have been my fault, but the Sherlock Holmes exhibit was there... More

We came for the Sherlock Holmes exhibit, but this museum offers so much more than its specials, including fascinating, family-friendly, interactive exhibits. Suitable for children age 8-9 years as well as their parents and grandparents.

There are some really great exhibits in the facility with interesting facts. Our favorite was the IMAX movie. We also did the plantarium but found it to be slightly boring. Maybe we just didn't see a better movie. Food not so great.

My family has a membership to the museum so we frequent it quite a bit. The special exhbits are also entertaining as well as incredibly educational. The IMAX's are really spectacular and I've always enjoyed them. I wish they would update the Planetarium films though because they've had the same ones for years. Some of the other parts of museum... We came for the sherlock Holmes exhibit and became members. I bring my granddaughter who is 6 now and she just loves it. I really didn't think the first time that I took her that she was into it. There was a gentleman in the primate area talking about one of the exhibits, Lucy, and explaining to my granddaughter who... More

We went to the Sherlock Holmes exhibit late last month. While we have gone to other large exhibits in the past at this venue (e.g. The Titanic ), this last one was far too crowded to be enjoyed. Because a number of the pieces were small and the explanation cards were similarly small, it was necessary to get close to... More

plan to spend an entire day here as there is so much to see. Our 3 year old may have been a tad bit too young but he still enjoyed.

A visit to the museum never gets old. There are so many things to see for all ages and children as they learn find something new each visit. The special events and displays are always outstanding. The Sherlock Holmes exhibit is truly a one of a kind event. It takes over two hours to see and do everything. You actually... More
