We had a great afternoon visiting the Art Museum. The exhibits they had were wonderful and such informative staff! There were activities everywhere for kids to do and plenty of amazing pieces to sit and gaze at for hours.

The museum itself is more interesting than the museum’s collection. There were some interesting pieces but overall very underwhelming.

We were looking for things to do in Denver. Our teen wanted to go here. We all enjoyed the museum though I’ve been to better art museums. It was easy to get to and the parking was easy. We got there when it opened.

Parking can be a little bit of a pain. I live in a small city and wasnt used to places not having parking lots specifically for them, I actually had to park in a pay to park lot and walk, albeit not far. I learned...More

If I lived in Denver, I would be here every other day. Five separate exhibits at a time, many with art that been overlooked. Fascinating and it takes time to ingest it all. Then there's the permanent collection. But the high point is the hand-on...More

Stepped into DAM for a short visit and found the Jeffery Gibson exhibit “Like a Hammer”. Wow! The diversity of materials used in his art was mind bending. Punching bags, beads, ceramics, deer hides ... The video that plays in the furthest space was so...More

We went to the Denver Art Museum expecting to see great art. All we saw was modern art (not exactly my thing) and not that much. But one of the buildings was closed for renovations. It may have been better. We paid much less and...More

We were there the first Saturday of the month and it was FREE! Several galleries with a wide variety of collections. We really enjoyed it.

Check out Jeffrey Gibson's Exhibition at the Denver Art Museum. Very interesting, a modern take on his Native American roots . Don't miss New Territory Exhibition also spectacular

Compared to other art museums, this was average. Enjoyed architecture of building overall. Pieces were centered around animals.

I'm so sorry I didn't see this earlier. We bought tickets online beforehand. We only waited 10 minutes or so. They monitor how many folks can start the exhibit at a time. Waiting wasn't an issue. Also, you are free to roam... More
