Been to New York and Chigao art museums so perhaps I am a little spoiled. Map of museum was really poor. It was hard to figure out where things were and staff poorly trained and not very helpful when you could find them. Be sure if you are going it an event it is not sold out before you go.... More

Beautiful museum... Saw everything except the Star Wars costumes... PS: We traveled from the end of the mall shuttle and, on a nice warm day, walked through the center of the park to DAM. Denver's homeless were everywhere in the interior of the park. We never really felt unsafe, but did have to sidestep a near brawl with yelling and... More

The Star Wars display is artful and historical. Amazing the creativity they got together for that show...and even for some costumes that were cut from the final. Everybody who is a Star Wars fan (or even those that were just alive when it came out) will enjoy. Worth the time and effort to see it.

The Star Wars Exhibit was good and lots of other exhibits to see at no cost. A nice part of town with beautiful architecture, shops and restaurants

Visited the DAM with my 7 year old twins while their other siblings were out of town and they LOVED it. The museum is free for kids and they have a neat activity set up for kids. You can check out a backpack for each exhibit and the kids complete activities to learn about the artifacts being viewed. There were... More

Free on first Saturdays, and always free for kids, we can bring the family here once a month, and have us all exposed to a first-rate art experience, without it costing us anything. The kids were engaged by the interactive displays, and we enjoyed the opportunity to enjoy the art without the pressure of having it cost us a bunch... More

We had just two hours available for our spur of the moment visit. At the time, there was an exhibit of Renaissance art from Venice. We've seen our share of this genre, but we had a look anyway since we had honeymooned in Venice many years ago. It was an impressive exhibit, and brought back many fond memories. However the...
