We were there on a beautiful day. We walked around the lake and over to the zoo. Many great panoramic pictures of the Denver skyline with faint mountains behind it. Interesting cormorant rookery and we even saw a giant pelican!

I would not walk up in this area by myself because there were so many homeless people in the park. So sad.

Nice paths through the park. You can really make it any distance you want. Lots of geese around. Not as pretty as some parks, but it was winter.

A beautiful and very large city park. Many things to do. Playground. Golf course. Pond with paddle boat rentals. The Denver Zoo and Museum of Nature and Science are located here also.
