Had a big breakfast at a neighborhood eatery and wanted to walk it off a little so strolled around the southern half of this good sized park for a while on a sunny Saturday morning. Walked around the two ponds and the more park-like grounds...More

City park offers the most variety of experiences of any park in Denver. With Jazz in the park on Sundays, the Colfax marathon, other races, events, biking, sports, the activities are endless. My only issue is the safety at night as there are homeless who sleep...More

We spent the afternoon meandering the Denver City Park and experiencing its many venues. We even rented a bicycle carriage for the 5 of us--what fun!! It was lots of fun for adults and kids.

My son and DIL live on City Park. You have this great park with walking, ponds, biking, playgrounds and more. You also have the Zoo and the Science Museum and so much more. Great city park and amenities.

I think this is the most underrated park in Denver, despite being the biggest and just 1.5 miles from downtown. It houses the Zoo and Museum of Nature & Science, and there are a few lakes/ponds, soccer fields, fountains, tennis courts, a big playground, and...More
