Loved the views from the top. Bring a sweater and or jacket as it can be cold. Worth the drive but you'll want to be careful due to the narrow roads.

The ride on Mt Evans Road was very exciting--all kinds of weather, from rain, to sunshine to fog and snow. The view can be iffy depending on the weather, but definitely worth the climb.

Mount Evans road makes getting to the top of a 14er accessible to everyone. The narrow winding road provides vistas of the Rocky Mountains. A stop for a picnic lunch at Summit Lake is perfect before heading up the remainder of the road, Summer weekend...More

Great place to spend some time. 1 hour or so from the city of Denver. Avoid the traffic in winter and head out early

Not many places offer the view that you get from the top of the Mt. Evans Highway. Make sure you dress warm because it is not uncommon to have snow at the top even in July.

After the drive up the beautiful Scenic Byway, we parked in the lot (parking can be tricky!!) and continued on foot to the summit. Wow. Was beautiful - but a bit crowded with people of all ages and pets. Not bad, but definitely not solitude...More

We had done the drive 20 years ago in July and it was too foggy. We decided to go again near the end of the season on labor day weekend. If you live in CO, hike a smaller peak and avoid the crowds. It was...More

Absolutely amazing experience. The drive can be a little adventurous if you're not used to the Colorado roads but an absolute must if you have the time to make the trip. Paved road to a nice parking lot only a few feet from one of...More

We are not big hikers and my sons would not have been able to reach other summits so Mount Evans was a great option. Stunning views and an overall enjoyable experience
