Today my friends and I attended the annual holiday party at the Lake Steam Baths. We look forward to this all year. In addition to the steam, sauna and whirlpool they offer fabulous massages and reflexology. Salt scrubs are an added treat. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. The prices are reasonable. You'll love it.

I've been going to Lake Steam Bath for over 20 years - a family run business with "no frills" but great prices and lots of regulars. I,too, was somewhat apprehensive on my first visit but my husband's mom, sisters, and nieces all raved about it, so I figured it couldn't be too bad. And it wasn't. I don't go as... More

I knew I was traveling to Denver and found this spa before I left Phoenix. I decided this was going to be my "treat" for getting through the week of classes I was here for. Unfortunately I arrived to find out I had shown up on a "Men Only" day. The man at the counter couldn't have been nicer though!... More

My daughter turned me on to this place a few years ago, she goes twice a week, and I from time to time. Everything the reviews say about this bath house is spot on. It's in a funky neighborhood, and looks iffy from outside, yet it is an amazing experience. The eucalyptus steam room is intense, as is the Hot... More

The lake steam baths are over 100 years old and the still provide a healthy detox environment. From the outside it looks a little scary but once inside the positive energy will encompass you. The steam, dry sauna and hot tub will lull you into a state of total relaxation. Massages are very reasonable and the massage therapists are very... More

Forget the fancy spas deals. If you want a fantastic steam bath, sauna and hot tub, the Lake Steam Bath is the place to come. You can stay all day for $18. Massages, salt scrubs, reflexology and other treatments are available and are VERY reasonably priced. The lady who does the salt scrubs, Mercy, is superb. She seems to have... More

This place rocks. Zero frills. Bad paint job. Friendly people, very neighborhoody. For marble tile go somewhere else, but after the hottest tub and fabulous steam room you won't blink an eye at the plastic lawn chairs. Bring water.

I have never found another place like this one. I'll admit, I was apprehensive, at first. But, now, I am a regular. If you want to relax and unwind for cheap, this is the place. For $18, you can stay all day--just make sure you come on the right day. Women and men have different days. Once a month, they... More
