Civic Center Park could be a beautiful asset, but it is filled with homeless people and their tents, shopping carts and trash.

What a shame. The beautiful Capital Building is the host to the homeless drug addicts in this park. Denver really made a mistake by allowing this to happen. Go with a group during the day. Otherwise it's likely not safe.
