I came here for the NaturalTango Festival, a weekend of workshops and dancing. The upstairs room is like a dream with all the lights and the stage. The bathroom could be a little cleaner, but otherwise it was a great venue for the experience.

I've been going to the Mercury Cafe (or anyplace else that the owner, Marilyn McGinity, runs), since 1989. The Merc is a funky joint, and I mean that in the best possible way. It's eclectic; upstairs they host poetry readings, swing dance lessons and competitions,...More

Delicious as always. Tried the Oz omelette, yum! I'm very picky about my omelette. The texture was fluffy and the ingredients were perfectly proportioned. Skipped the 10 AM cinnamon rolls, a very good reason to come back.

Just about every night they offer a dance lesson and then a dance. Great way to get out and socialize and get a little exercise! And it's not the bar scene. The level of dancing is very approachable. Most of the regulars seem nice and...More

Loved the downtown location of this vegan and vegetarian friendly dining experience. Everything offered was locally sourced and Organic especially nice to this this with the meat options.

If you came of age in the 60s and are nostalgic for the counterculture, this is the place for poetry slams, folk, bluesy music, tango milongas in a funky, eclectic, un-designer-ish atmosphere. But if you want a good meal, eat somewhere with a professional chef....More
