The rental runabout boats are dilapidated. The gauges really don't work. And so the marina sent us out with insufficient fuel for a two hour rental, and the boat ran out of gas and was stranded on the lake. The marina didn't answer the phone...More

We thoroughly enjoyed the historical tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area, how the reservoir came to be, and how it functions today. The historical photos, maps, and cross section drawings of the dam were super helpful for visualizing the whole area.

Motor boats are allowed after being inspected, but swimming is not. Water is very cold and Denver Water Department (owner) does not allow it.
