The best horseback riding we've experienced in this area. Great horses, fabulous trails and superb guides. A must for the trail happy visitors and they do sled rides in the winter

We did a private ride with Sean. He took us through the mountains for 2 hours. It was so peaceful and he was very knowledgeable about the area and wildlife. This is definitely a buck list item. Does it get any better than riding through the mountains by horseback? Will definitely go back to Bucks!

Buck's Livery has been a go-to activity for our family for years. Book rides for 1 or 2 hours, try a half day trail ride, try a supper ride. Everyone is friendly and the horses are well mannered.

We came as a group of four booking a half day ride at the last minute. We were the only ride that day so we got a private tour! Three of the four of us were experienced and comfortable with horses. I had experiences, but I am not comfortable with horses having had a few bad experiences in the past.... More

What a great ride! We went horseback riding for 2 lovely hours. Diamond, my horse, was fantastic. We enjoyed the company of our guides, Henry and a lovely young lady. They were both very friendly, knowledgeable and friendly. The trail or path was very nice, safe for riding and with breathtaking views. It was wonderful. I highly recommend it. I... More

Six of us -- including two 16-year-old boys and two 50+ women with hip problems -- enjoyed a beautiful two hour trail ride with Cassandra and Vinnie on gentle horses thru beautiful scenery. Perfect outing. We called at 9AM and were on the trail by 11. Across the highway from Purgatory resort.

I had a ride with Shawn as the guide and two other beginning riders. I am an experienced rider and they put me on Morgan, which was a wonderful horse. I was surprised at how responsive he was. It was an absolutely stunning ride and Shawn was fun to have as a guide. He pointed out interesting facts and seemed... More

I booked a reservation at Buck's for myself and two of my children ages 11 and 14. I had not been on a horse in close to 30 years and it was a new experience for both my children. The guides where wonderful at matching up riders to just the right mount. They were also great at making the riders... More

They have an excellent group of guides and horses. We did both the one and two hour tours, and recommend the two hour if possible. There is a lot to see - great mountains, and lots of aspen trees. The horses are great for kids.

Our family enjoyed a scenic and relaxing ride with Buck's crew. The horses were very calm and well trained. We had the best picture of our group taken on the trip.
