Molas Pass to Durango

Day one the Trails were amazing. Day two customer service terrible. Do not rely on for trail knowledge. We were bush-wacking for 3 hours. Then came back into town with our... read more

Hermosa Tours did an exceptional job on our recent Kokopelli Trail - Fruita to Moab trip. Glen, our guide did a great job going over maps, sharing trail beta, and giving us an idea of what the day would have in store. He was also a really great guy! Hermosa provided a great kitchen with everything you could possibly need,... More

Our group of riders collectively agreed we would never use this outfit again. The owner, Matt Mcfee, is one of, if not the most unprofessional business owner I have dealt with. I spoke with him on the phone prior to our trip and he was aggressive, abusive, and dismissive of the questions i had concerning the ride. It got to... More

First off the owner, Matt, can be extremely hostile and down right abusive. He called me about an a disagreement we had about the upcoming trip and laid into me. It was one of the most unprofessional interactions I've had to date. That alone is reason to steer clear. I should have just canceled then and lost the deposit but held... More

Six of us used Hermosa Tours for the 4 day supported but selfguided bike ride from Loma/Fruita to Moab. it as a fantastic service, exceeded my expectations. Each day we would ride into our camp - just where the driver/support awesoem guy Jeremy had indicated we would likely be, and well marked. The kitchen was all set, great campsites picked... More

Day one the Trails were amazing. Day two customer service terrible. Do not rely on for trail knowledge. We were bush-wacking for 3 hours. Then came back into town with our supplies sitting in the rain under the steps behind the bike shop. When we stress our concerns this was the response we received. From Matt"... let’s just all agree... More

Our planned trip with this outfit was ruined by a very unpleasant exchange with one of its employees, who lost his temper over a minor issue, and canceled a multi-person trip. All experienced riders and bike packing enthusiasts, we had a great trip in the area anyway. Later, I had to refuse payment and write a strong letter to my... More

A random online choice directed me to Hermosa Tours. I explained that I would be meeting my Dad and little brother in Durango and that we wanted to go for a fun casual cruise. I described our skill level as thus: I live in Flagstaff and bike to class but have never been mountain biking, my dad and brother live... More

Five of us rode the four-day/three-night Kokopelli Trail, semi-supported tour. Nick was terrific in setting us up not only for success in the ride, but also for getting our gear in place for the evening. On top of it all, Nick proved a master at handling a difficult group that was along for our tour. A true gentleman. Knowledgeable, helpful,... More

Took a 3 hr. (1/2 day) mt. bike tour in Sedona, AZ with Hermosa Tours. The guide was highly knowledgeable in all aspects of the region as well as a crazy strong rider. The guide had no attitude, he just wanted to ride us around to our ability. Super fun!
