This is an interesting place to view the valley below and to see bristlecone pines up close. These twisted gnarled trees are ancient and show the marks of time. There's a small nature center and a trail nearby.

Beautiful, easy hike on the way up to Mount Evans. Great place to stop and stretch your legs and do adjust to the changes in altitude and use the restroom. Great place to view the bristle cone pines up close.

This is one of my favorite places to get out and walk. The views are stunning and the bristlecone trees, wildflowers and wildlife with amaze you! Bathrooms are primitive, but there.

This was a great hike! It was fairly easy so just about all ages can complete it. Make sure to take water. And a camera! The scenery was amazing. .
