I've been blessed to bike in some very pretty places (Chicago Lakefront, Acadia Carriage Trails, etc.) but this one may be the best. The ride is gorgeous. We had a few less experienced riders with us and we rode from the ranch to the Hanging Lake Trail and then on into Glenwood Springs. We were told it was mostly downhill... More

Great trail, through the heart of Glenwood canyon. Long enough to challenge, but not so long you can't conquer in an afternoon. Don't forget to stop and take in the scenery, sounds and sensations.

I rode the 12.5 miles or so from Glenwood Springs to the Hanging Lake Trailhead. Some amazing views. Climbed about 1000' -- a couple of steep sections, but otherwise a very mild climb. Racked back! Very shady, which is probably great in the summer, but in Nov. in the morning, it was pretty darn cold! Most of the trail is... More

My husband and I have always meant to ride the path, and we finally did it yesterday. It was a beautiful fall day and it was really neat to see the river and canyon from somewhere other than the interstate. We had a great time. It's nice that there are restrooms available at the rest areas in convenient locations. We... More

Rent your bike in town and let them drive you to the top of the canyon. Then enjoy the beauty before you as you descend back down into Glenwood Springs. Don't forget to stop and hike Hanging Lake Trail.

We rented bikes in town and the company dropped us off at this bike trail that follows the river. Nicely paved and incredibly scenic, this was a great day out.

The bike ride through the canyon was beautiful. We started in Glenwood Springs. The leaves were in full fall color. Nature's scenery at its best.

My husband and I walked the trail from Exit 125 to Exit 123 and back. The path is paved and amply wide, with no steep inclines in the section we walked. The views were spectacular so if you are biking, take the time to stop and look. We plan on walking more on our next visit to the area. The... More

I highly recommend the bike trail. Several bike rental companies will drop you off at the far end and you simply need to ride back into town. The ride back is primarily downhill and easy to do. The views are spectacular. When I was there the river was still rather high from the snow melt runoff and the sound of... More

We parked at the No Name rest stop and started our bike ride from there to Bair Ranch....a 10 mile ride with some elevation gain as you go up the canyon (not difficult) then after a rest we returned to No Name. Had a head wind all the way back!
