First, as many of the other reviewers mentioned it’s 1.2 miles with just a little over 1,000 foot climb. It’s strenuous but doable if you’re in ok shape or take your time and a few breaks going up. Going down is much easier. On your...More

The trail that leads to Hanging Lake was challenging to say the least. A mile straight up on very rocky terrain. I do not recommend going in March like I did because of the snow and icy patches. Almost treacherous at spots. But once you...More

The main drawback of this Lake is that it is a strenuous 1.2 mike uphill slog to get there . The trail is quite rough and requires a good level of fitness
