We wanted to hike but Hanging Lake but were traveling with a pregnant girl and a lady with arthritic feet. So we asked our rafting guide about local alternatives and he pointed us here - and we all thoroughly enjoyed this hike! It’s gorgeous scenery...More

Hanging Lake Trail parking was full so we detoured over to Grizzly Creek Trail with our two tweens. Clean trail that runs along the creek with easy access spots. The creek was clean and a great way to splash some water on your face to...More

We were disappointed that the Hanging Lakes Trail was so crowded there was no parking. So we tried Grizzly Creek Trail instead. It is a beautiful little trail that goes right along the creek. We were able to get in the creek in places to...More

The whole trail runs along the picturesque Grizzly Creek which feeds into the Colorado River. The trail starts out relatively flat and gradually becomes more difficult as you go further. Besides locals with their dogs, the trail was peaceful and quiet. We brought a picnic...More

It is a beautiful path, with a wonderful view, it stands out for going to the river bank almost the whole journey. Perhaps it is not suitable for all public, since on several occasions it was noted for having small and loose stones. Also narrow...More

Got to the trailhead about 8am on a Sunday which was perfect! There was only one other group of hikers out on my way up. Beautiful scenery and sounds, as the water in the creek rushed by. Would recommend this moderate hike, has about a...More

This is a beautiful little break. Parking available on both sides of the freeway. Restrooms available. Public/bottom of trail was wheelchair friendly. Up the trail, numerous places to see swift water. Hold onto kiddos and fido.

If people don’t like our trails then go somewhere else. It’s that simple. Glenwood is overcrowded with people who don’t respect themselves or our town. Keep Glenwood local.

We love this trail and go hiking here often. If you’re not a fan of crowds and you love water cascading over boulders, then this is the place for you. The moderate hike stays next to the creek and is about 7/8 miles round trip...More

Definitely bring the kids. There are 1 or 2 short sections where the trail gets real skinny but they are easy to spot and navigate. After the first 10 minutes the wide trail becomes narrow and there is only room for 1... More

Probably neither. The snow is gone and it only takes a couple of sunny days to dry all of our trails. Wed, Thur and Fri will be sunny and fairly warm. Enjoy!
