When I was going through Chemotheraphy for breast cancer, my friend and I went to the shrine and poured water on my head

I poured water on my head when I was going through Chemotheraphy so that I would not lose all of my hair...it worked!

Our friend picked us up at the Denver Airport and asked if we wanted to visit the Red Rocks near Morrison and of course we agreed. On the way, we saw the signs for the Mother Cabrini Shrine and all of us being Catholic, we asked if we could make a detour. Our friend was thrilled as she did not... More

Attended Mass. Learned a lot about Saint Mother Cabrini. Local parishioners very helpful. Unable to climb the stairs, so I achieved the key to the gates and was able to reach the summit and statue. Thank you for this experience.

We began our day here with an early mass and then walked the grounds and made the climb up to the shrine on the hill.

Challenging but so worth it to make the journey to the top! There are 373 steps that lead to the Sacred Heart of Jesus statue. The view is amazing - so beautiful! Ecclesiastes 3:11 "He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart..."

Well worth the stop, beautiful view from the shrine, the spring is refreshing......beware it is 300+ steps up to the top where the statue and views are ......so if your not up to making the sacrifice don't....the spring is at the base ...fill your own water bottles .....cups are available.....and make a few donations ......respect others sanctity. Understand the works... More

My husband and I took our girls up here to have a little "vow renewal" ceremony. It has been through a lot of destruction the last few years but it is still an amazing place to be.

Walked up with my son on a cloudy day, but still it was pretty, and the very small museum was interesting. Mother Cabrini is the patron saint of immigrants, which I never knew (despite passing the shrine hundred of times as I drove on I-70). A nice stop on your way to somewhere else.

The road up to the shrine is barricaded, at the bottom next to U.S. 40, and it appears to be a permanent closure.

We toured this with a graduate of Cabrini HS in NYC (recently closed). This retired successful businesswoman has deep respect for Mother Cabrini and her works. This is a lovely tribute to her good works. She accomplished so much in her short life (67 years old) at a time when women were often overlooked. She purchased 3 parcels of land... More
