My 6 yr old son and I went here to see what it's like. What a great place! Lots and lots of hands on experiments and activities. The volunteer explained everything to my son and was so patient with his questions. My son could've spent a lot longer here if we'd had the time.

Seriously, kids, now and then, need something besides - go outside, read a book, watch a video... when that need arises, take them to the Math and Science Center. It's a hands on learning experience. The great thing is - the kids will have so much fun they won't realize it's a school in sheep's clothing.

My kids had so much fun here. There are many hands on activities to do. It wasn't crowded when we went so my kids were able to take their time with all of the activities. The staff wast there to help, but you are free to explore at your own pace. Fun, educational activity

As a Biologist and mother of 3, I was amazed by all the hands on learning stations for children of all ages. This is a gem, and deserves all the accolades it receives. My kids love all the simple, yet cleverly built stations that easily teach functions of biology, physics, and more.

Our family loves the Math and Science Center. Our children attend summer camps here and we often come during their Saturday Science Hour. This place is definitely worth a visit.

We took our 8 and 12 year old grandchildren to Grand Junction for the day and decided to spend some time here and they loved it. Tons of stations where they can do all sorts of things from blow cube shaped bubbles to petting a python to going inside of a camera. All hands on and fun. We had an... More

The Math and Science center is a very cool place to take the kids. They can learn all kinds of fun things there is about weather, nature, etc. by hands on displays. The kids and, as well as the parents will really enjoy learning all about the interesting things around us, and how they work. It's worth a visit.
