Tripadvisorā€™s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This little theater is dynamite! The show we saw, Pirates of Penzance, is a very difficult show to do. It requires great vocal range, excellent comedic timing, and impeccable, sparkling English diction. This cast had it all. I doubt that there is a bad seat in the house. The theater is small, and though we were in the center back, I believe you could see and hear everywhere. The stage set and costumes were also very good! What a lovely thing to find a great musical theater experience in a small mountain town. Bravo!

Came tonight and saw ā€œSomething Rottenā€ with zero expectations other than to have a good time, and left feeling very enthusiastic about not only this production, but the Company and the quality of work that gets done here.

Excellent acting, mesmerizing sets, and big sound orchestra- just top notch from start to finish. Having lived in NYC area for twenty years, Iā€™ve seen a few good shows here and there, and just canā€™t say enough good things about this Rep.

Not only is this a great thing to do while in Grand Lake, itā€™s a REASON to go to Grand Lake.

If I could, I would click on 6 stars. Communication was above and beyond. The theater itself is really pretty and the acoustics are good. The staff is so helpful. We saw Beehive, and enjoyed it tremendously.

Took a 5 year old to see Cinderella and it was magical! It was her first live show and she was entranced. I alternated from watching her face to watching the show. We love the Theatre and attend at least 2 shows every summer. Broadway quality in little Grand Lake!!

My wife and I attended our first performance at this wonderful venue and saw the musical, Beehive. The theater and seating were great; the live orchestra played wonderfully; and EVERY actress sang with such amazing talent that the crowd simply had to close their eyes to be transported back to the 60s and visualize the original artist. If you like the music of the 60s; want to relive the songs; and see amazing choreographyā€¦go see this Musical.

We attend 1or 2 performances each year and itā€™s a highlight of our week. We saw Jersey Boys and Desperate Measures this week. Both were outstanding! We saw Jersey Boys in Las Vegas a few years ago and Mitchell Lewis had a better voice than the one in Vegas. We have also been to a concert with Frankie himself and Mitchell really does him justice. Donā€™t miss a chance to experience a musical in the amazing theatre!!!

This is a lovely facility/theater in which to see a show--not a bad seat in the house; good sound system, staging and lighting. We saw "Always"--a show about Patsy Cline and the actors were terrific as was the singing/music. We can easily recommend seeing a show here!

On my annual summer visits I have always seen the fantastic casts and choice of shows "par excellence"! Recently I saw "Always, Patsy Cline" sung and performed before a country band, and both Patsy and Louise were perfectly portrayed in a lovely treatre with visible seating from every corner. Summer theatre at its best!!!
