I went to this museum hoping to see more information of the homesteaders who settled in this area. That is not what this museum is about. It pretty much covers the history of the city only, and that is their mission, and they do it well.

Very appealing to those wishing to explore the true abundance of history in this weld county area. Plan on an average time of about 1.3 hours, self guided, and a true spirit of appreciation when seeing this history! Five dollar a person entry fee, and well worth it.

This museum was nice and clean. It was fun to see the history and has hands on things for children. The questions were a little hard but fun to read about things to find the answers.

A lot of information on Greeley's history and founders, the rattlesnake dress story and exhibit was worth it alone, big prohibition exhibit

My wife, two young sons, and I visited the Greeley History Museum in late September 2015. We went with a free admission on Smithsonian Day. I learned so much about Greeley having never been there before. I thought it was fascinating that Greeley was a planned experimental utopian community! The way the exhibits were laid out was orderly and explained... More

Some of the exhibits that the Greeley History Museum have had recently are pretty awesome! They had the Lego exhibit, which had the entire city of Greeley built out of Legos, Plus there were the original letters from the first settlers to Greeley. They have a dress made out of 140 rattlesnake skins (and shoes!) that Kate Slaughterback killed in... More

A well presented local museum on the history of the development and history of Greeley. Worth the stop to learn more about the development of the town.
