Went on a Thursday

Great mountain, very little crowd and totally enjoyed the terrain. Probably the highlight of our 3 day trip!

I traveled with a group of 6 of us to this ski area and came back extremely happy. The staff from the lifts to the cafes are the nicest you'll meet. The slopes themselves were very fun to ski. Make sure to go up to the lodge at the top of the Black Mountain Express! Just be sure you are... More

Gee a place with no people from Aspen. Great skiing for all levels and still real. Enjoy friendly employees and a decent bar and grill. And you can still park right at the base.

This mountain has a nice feel of a locals' hangout. Picked a sunny day, the slopes warmed up gradually. Blues are a bit blackish, didn't dare try the real blacks. Even the greens are bluer than the Keystone and Breckinridge ones. Great value food and drink on the mountain, and lots of decks to take in the scenery.

First time I've skied The Legend, and it did not disappoint! We had a great day of skiing, with minimal lift lines. I only skied once so I just rented. Their rental process was super easy and the gear was good quality. There are plenty of different runs, from groomers to bumps, and of course there is the wall, which... More

We had an amazing time - definitely a good spot for intermediate/advanced skiers. The tree runs are fun and you have a ton of open space as it is a locals mountain and not too packed with tourists.

Great Skiing!! This is one of the highest peaks you can ski in the world (top 5 , I think). It can be pretty windy on top, just like Keystone. It has nice bowl areas and a lot of fun terrain. Chisholm Trail is the best!!

I love A-Basin. They always have an extended season sometimes from October to June. They almost always stay open into May. Good food at the restaurant at the base with great Bloody Mary's.

Great place to ski, very unpretentious yet comfortable and you don't feel like you're in Times Square on New Year's Eve. Get this, they don't even charge you for parking! Best place for lunch is up on the mountain lodge at the top of the ski lift. Cool place, nice decor, and really good food! Lift ticket prices are reasonable... More

When I started reviewing the pricing at Keystone for ski school for my family of 4, it got pricy quick! Luckily, someone mentioned A Basin to me and I looked it up! They sometimes offer 4 lessons for $399.... and that includes the lift tickets for the day! I'm so thankful we went with this option. My 4 & 5... More
