This drive was very scenic. We stopped at the river and braved the mosquitoes to let the dogs have a swim. Recommended.

We drove this way to go river rafting and found ourselves wanting to stop at every corner to enjoy the view. From scenic valleys to rugged canyons this drive had it all.

Great views, great road, besides, how else are you going to get to Highway 131 let alone 301 to hit the Colorado?

As a local, this is one of my favorite places hiking, camping, fishing, and rafting. Beautiful views I've seen Elk and Deer herds along with Bighorn sheep. It's also a shortcut to Hwy 131 and Wolcott if I'm headed west to Glenwood. If your headed...More

The roadway itself was in very good condition. There are many scenic pull-offs. Some views are absolutely stunning. We will go back.

We stumbled across this by accident on our way from Glenwood Springs to Estes Park. The views of the Colorado River and the surrounding area were very nice. We were a bit surprised that a large portion of this was gravel, but we didn't mind....More
