2.5 trim ride is fun and educational. The view is spectacular and you will appreciate the bird eye view without the hike to the top. Our conductor was awesome and told lots of stories. Saw deer on our way. Definitely recommend. Some carts are open...More

We took an afternoon train ride. The lady who was narrating was very good. She would point out and comment on things about the mountain, railroad, miners, vegetation, etc. There were zip liners zipping over the train tracks, grazing deer and we experienced a hairpin...More

The train goes on a single track 1000ft above the Arkansas River. The cost is about right, $37 for adults. The seats face the windows of the carriages, not fellow passengers, so get a seat facing down the valley. Much of the trip, the views...More

A very nice family adventure for the price. The young man narrarating the ride was very informative and courteous. The price was very affordable for a tourist attraction and the views were amazing.

There are very nice views on this ride. It was nice for our daughter who has asthma so she could see the mountain without doing strenuous climbing. It was done well and was informative. Appreciated being able to bring snacks on board with us.

We took the train up and back, however, in the future would probably take it only up and then zip line back. Having opted for up & back, we then ate lunch and dos the zip line separately causing it to be a bit more...More
