We were married here 20 years ago and stay in the Goldenwoods condos 3-5 weeks per year. The resort has really changed. Tickets are still super over priced but they did just put in a high speed lift that makes it more worth it. They have basic food that is expensive. The Goldenwoods condos are nice for the RCI weekly... More

Many years ago, we would fly into Denver Stapleton on an early flight and be on the slopes by midday. Those times and the airport are long gone - as are those life ticket prices - but Grand Junction Airport and Powderhorn Mountain Resort provide a whiff of nostalgia. Powderhorn is less than 45 minutes from the airport at the... More

We chose Powderhorn purposefully as it's advertised as low stress skiing, perfect for beginners and intermediates, as well as cost efficient. The staff was super-friendly and helpful, the runs had great variety for all levels, the lessons were very helpful, and the powder was groomed consistently each day. We came at the end of the season when it was very... More

We are still on the road home from our recent visit. Let me say just as last year this place is spot on with customer service. They all went over and beyond to help and service The Texas Group! Special thanks to Summer, Rebecca, Abigail, Adam, Samuel, Luke the Maintenance Guy, Joe and the kitchen staff, Last but not least... More

We love this Resort! It is our third year to come and we couldn't be happier. Every single person is there to make you feel welcome. It is so family friendly - older kids can go off and ski as most runs end at the lodge. Adam with the marketing team is amazing. He worked with our large group to... More

My son had a blast, he met one of the ski instructors and she was eager to show him the ropes and teach him! He was so excited as he came back every day with more exciting stories of his time on the slopes. He loved every minute of it!

I love skiing here with my family when I'm visiting the Grand Junction area. Affordable lift tickets, nice groomed terrain plus plenty of black diamonds for those who want more of a challenge, affordable and good lessons. Only complaint is that the cafeteria's food is lacking. But I do like it's bar! I also loved the New Year's Eve Torchlight... More

I went down hill mountain biking at the resort on Sunday and had an amazing time! I took lessons with Stewart and I was grateful for all the advice. He was a great guide and I wouldn't have had nearly as good a time as I did without him showing me the trails!
