We were touring Colorado in ad hoc fashion. Golfing and enjoying the locals. We happen to be in Montrose to tour the Gunnison Monument. We checked out the Bridges, just for giggles and grins, and to our surprise, the staff just took us in as...More

This is an excellent Nicklaus designed course. Challenging, but no tricks. It's about 2 miles from downtown Montrose. While there is a walking price, take a cart since distances between holes can be considerable. Since it's usually not busy, you should easily play in less...More

My husband and I were on a trip through Colorado and Utah and looked for a golf course. We found Telluride Ski & Golf but to be quite honest, it was a beautiful area but the golf course didn't look very manicured. Considering what the...More

At first I was wary of a Nickalus design, but it was better than expected. Only one Nickalus got you. We were treated very well by pro shop staff and they were very helpful to us. We played on twilight rate and finished in 4...More

We head to Montrose a few times a year to play golf. In the past, springtime conditions left little to be desired, but this year the course is in great shape. This a very challenging course, but fun.

This is a fun links course. The folks in the clubhouse were a bit snooty, but the employees were very nice and accomodating.

Country club atmosphere and service ... very good (but not great) food; excellent service, but anywhere near Montrose the ambience and view is unsurpassed
