The trail is clearly marked as you make your way back to the Delonge Homestead. Love the forest and the wide open meadows where you can catch some sunshine on your way. Very relaxing. I will be returning to explore the mine area.

Our group of 8 enjoyed this hike some of them for the 4th or 5th time. Not too strenuous but can get long for kids under the age of 8. The mining town was great too.

This hike even on a rainy day was a joy. Saw a wonderful great heron in the pond. Took a very nice hike through this gentle area. historical areas of mining and a luxury lodge from long ago. don't miss it.

We did this hike New Year's Eve afternoon with the trails covered in well packed snow maybe 6-8 thick. No problem with footing although we did bring a single walking pool each and found it helpful in a few spots. The Homestead in the snow...More

Had been thinking of going here for years. Then read about the famous red barn / recording studio burning down, though not completely. Well, finally went last week and it was well worth it. 1) The hike itself is very easy with minimal elevation gain,...More
