This was my first time camping in a CO state park and I probably wouldn't visit again. The camping fees are high for a site without hookups and the fee to stay in the state park is an additional $7/day. There is zero shade and...More

Friends of ours had highly recommended Stagecoach State Park when they visited the area several years ago. We were excited when personal plans ended up taking us to the Steamboat area and decided to make camping reservations for both trips. Our experience from the first...More

There are a couple of issues with camping here if you are in an RV. Two campgrounds have electric hookups: Junction City & Pinnacle. We ended up in Pinnacle because the campground itself and the sites were larger and more level. We were there when...More

Great state park for trout and pike fishing. Boat ramp is easily accessible and close to the parking lot for your trailer and vehicle. Lots of camping spaces.

Busy during the summer, but so many great places to hike around. Sarvis Creek is one of our favorite places to hike! Beautiful scenery. We also like to take the dogs for swimming in the summer and running on the frozen reservoir during the winter.

There isn't a lot to do at stagecoach unless you like boating or fishing. The sites are nice but a bit close together for a state campground. There is no real 'hiking' but more 'walking' or biking trails alongside the lake which are pretty. It...More
