I have visited Wolf Creek for many years and no matter what month i was here, there was snow......sometimes to much. Not a huge modern ski resort, but everything you will need to have a good time. Good trails for all levels and the staff and employees have always been very helpful. Good location to take lessons if you are... More

this place is not that tall, and its not as big as the vail resorts but WHO CARES when you have the most snowfall in colorado and the best tree terrain anywhere. I went on a "bad" snow time and still was finding tons of powder all over the area off alberta lift. they are priced better than east coast... More

The staff are mean and crabby. The facilities are absurd. The food is horrid. There's nothing to do for non-skiers. There is no real bar to speak of, just a closet that serves bottled beer. Go for the powder and the terrain. If you're a single, advanced skier or rider who won't mind a spartan experience, then go. I will... More

Wolf Creek is a great place to ski. Particular thanks to the rental shop folks who were all really invested in their customers. I also overheard a conversation with the ski instructors and they were doing a really good job of reassuring new skiers. I rented telemark equipment. They have a great selection of skis and boots - much better... More

Folks you need to be tough and want to ski. The Trip to the Ski Area is very long up the mountain; just almost to the continental divide. You shouldn't go in 12 - 17 Degree weather. Winds gust to 30 to 45. My wife begin crying on the way up; so I had to come back down the mountain... More

Always has snow. Great mix of runs for all skill sets. Value priced for family skiing. Been going for years and it is one of the best Colorado ski areas for the money. Hot springs nearby to soak apres ski aches.

This was our first time snowboarding so we don't have much to compare it too, however we had a great time. All the trails are well maintained and there are a variety of levels. We did two days of the snowboard school and are leaving comfortable with blue trails. There were a lot of instructors, but all were very knowledgeable... More

It isn't Lake Tahoe, but this hidden treasure has a lot to offer. Will be returning as often as possible, next time with family and kids.

I made the mistake of booking a weekend of skiing here during the Presidents Day weekend. I've decided to break my review down into a list of pros and cons with letter grade assignments: Pros: (1) Wolf Creek has an excellent quantity and quality of snow that makes for a great ski experience. Grade: A- (2) The hamburgers at the... More
