I think the views are so beautiful. When we did this hike I do feel it’s harder than what they rate the actual hike difficulty. There are others waterfalls after the first one you see so keep going if you can.

We did it on 7/16. We’re moderate city hikers. Mildly challenging but very satisfying. Took us 2 hours to falls and one hour and 40 minutes back. Bug repellent strongly advised. I wish I’d invested in a cheap poncho for the way back. Pretty and...More

Hiked this trail at 8 mos pregnant on July 10th. I cannot provide a full review as our family hiked a little over 3 miles and didn’t go the full way, just enough to see the falls. 3 miles was a perfect mixture of beautiful...More

You can huff it in and out in a few hours or you can stay all day. The trail is gorgeous and well maintained, the falls are breathtaking, and the landscape changes from forest, to fields, to mountain in just a few miles. This was...More

Beautiful views! We went on family hike expecting 3.5 miles roundtrip and it was 8 miles! The age range was a 2 year old to 60 year old. It was a challenge for those not used to the high altitude.

I followed the trail out for the first three miles which takes you to a waterfall. As you begin the hike you descend into a meadow which at the time was covered in wild flowers. The elevation change for this hike is not extreme. However, the...More

Most everywhere I could find rated this hike as Moderate, meaning doable by most but strenuous at times. It is certainly that. Locals might tell you it's pretty easy, and I'm sure it is for them, but don't forget they are fully acclimated to the...More

The very tiring hike! I had not hiked this distance before but I was determined to do it. We started on the trail around 8 AM, had an hour minute break for lunch and to enjoy the falls, and back to our car by 1....More

Great hike!! Look for the cairns (stacked rocks) to find the final triple falls. It's up near the fourmile falls. We saw a lot of others pass right by it. Take some hiking boots and a hiking stick. It was a great hike. It took...More

I believe this is more a moderately difficult hike. Some parts are easy, open-meadow, but many are significant elevation changes, water crossings, etc. Hiking sticks are strongly recommended. We couldn't make it past the 3-mile in "viewing area" of the falls, although it was our...More
