We were on the 25 mile bike tour and this was the first winery encountered. The grounds were by far one of the best we encountered - modern, new and with amazing views. However, the staff were a little snooty. Part of the wine tasting...More

We visited Colterris twice, once at the location near downtown Palisade while touring on our bikes and another time to visit the overlook location. The wines were solid with great flavor. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Just before leaving to head home, we visited...More

Nice setting and welcoming staff. We did the 7 pour tasting and gave a great sense of this heritage winery. Packaged cheese, meats and crackers round out for a great lunch spot among the grapes.

This winery is a stand alone winery (other wineries in town seem clustered together with their neighbors) but it was worth the extra cycling!! Best views of all the Palisade wineries and amazing wine. The tasting isn't complementary like many in town, but I'd happily...More

Go for the wine, but stay to savor a glass or two with friends on the patio adjacent to the vineyards. It's too nice a spot to skip the sip! Note that Colterris has two tasting rooms, one on North River Rd which is the...More

This was our first tasting of 6 wineries in the area and the best Cab Franc I had.. and we did extensive testing. It is a bit off the path of the rest of the other wineries but worth the trip. So glad we went!

This was my favorite winery as we toured through Palisade last spring. Even better? They ship their wines to Illinois (where I'm from) so I was able to join their quarterly wine club. Love the White Cab and Cab Franc, but they were all awesome.

We stopped at Colterris on the recommendation of friends and were not disappointed. However, we were surprised that you have to pay for tastings where most of the wineries in the area have free tastings.
