About
Across the magnificent beach of Pirgos, right on the edge of the bay formed by the second and third peninsula of the region of Chalkidiki, facing the historical Mount Athos and the lovely island of Ammouliani, the bright white of the sand and the deep blue of the sea magically merge into one another and give birth to the beautiful Maori Beach Bar. The venue is largely made by sustainable materials and is harmonically blended with its surroundings. It fully embodies the refreshing and laidback notion of the summer in the Aegean archipelagos. It offers a wide range of tasty snacks, top-notch coffee options, and refreshing cocktails and drinks. Also, it hosts exciting music live sets, eclectic cultural events and never-ending parties.

Stunning beach bar
Aug 2019 • Friends
Yes it is a knack to get here but once you do get ready for a scenery unlike any other in the area.
I *loved* the music and the fact that my coffee was served in a paper rather than single-use plastic cup (well-done guys!). Also, carefully chosen coffee beans, cold beer, and relaxing sitting area.
The sea is not the best, as it has pebbles. If you are looking for a sandy beach, go elsewhere.
Don’t order fried potatoes (unless you double check they are freshly cooked. The ones that came with my club sandwich were from a day ago, which is shameful and was pointed out to the waiter).

Maori Beach Bar rules
Jul 2019 • Family
One of the best places in Chalkidiki. Great music is just part of the atmosphere. No screaming kids or organized beach entertainment, frequented mainly by locals. It could hardly get any better.Forget usual reviews. If you want to relax in the absence of exotic licence plates, this is the spot.

A unique beach bar
Aug 2018 • Family
A bit off the beaten track, but full of character. It doesn’t charge sunbeds, the staff were very helpful, coffee was proper. We had club sandwiches for light lunch—not the best quality, but what one would expect from a beach bar.
A nice beach and interesting decor, unlike many indifferent beach bars.

Amazing!

I love this beach bar! Decoration is soo cool and people who work there are polite and cheerful. Prices are very good especially compared to other beach bars. Personally i like the sea there very much but some people say there are many rocks. Water is very clean and generally I totally recommend that you visit it. There are also many parties held there so make a search before visiting! Enjoy!

A true gem
Aug 2016 • Family
We visited Maori Beach Bar at the end of the season this August. We spend there just a day but we fell in love with it and we are already planning our return :). The place is wonderful, indeed! It is relaxing, very beautiful and so great that we wished we could have found it during one of our previous visits in the Athos area.

We loved the bar! The beach is rocky but the rocks are not sharp and you can walk on them bare feet without feeling discomfort. It is definitely a true gem that is worth the visit! The road to it is very scenic, as well, so if you are a views lover, you will be amazed.

Worth the travel
Jul 2016
Maori Beach is worth the travel from anywhere in Halkidiki. We were in Vourvourou and it took us around an hour. We travelled during a weekday and the place was not crowded at all. The kids played voleyball, enjoyed the hammocks and loved the sea. There are great coctails and the staff is very friendly. It is the only beach bar in the neighborhood.

Wonderful

It is difficult to say which is the best beach in the area because they all feel like paradise, but Maori is a doing a great great job at becoming the leader in its category. Wonderful place, beautiful beach, a slice of paradise here for sure.

A selective beach bar for selective people
Aug 2015 • Friends
I don’t know if one finds a ‘paradise’ on earth, should share it whit others, but the best description I can make for Maori is exactly that. A paradise. Away from all the things that could ruin your ideal chilling requests at a beach and beach bar. It is probably (clearly my opinion) one of the BEST place to visit. It is organized, without being overcrowded. It is amazingly clean. It is a center of friendliness and service. I could write for hours. I always return to Maori. Always. Although it’s quite further that the other beach-bars, the extra miles are worth every minute.

Under the sun.

The best place anywhere near by far. The place is absolutely gorgeous, the service is amazing. A vast array of drinks and food combination along with amazing music, best service, fully organized to the maximum, ample parking, palm leafed ombrella's for maximum sun protection. Beds with colorful coverings and pillows, sun beds and swings, all under beutiful and masterfully created shades. It has it all. Every time we have gone somewhere else, we keep missing Maori and we anticipate our next day spent at Maori. Paradise on earth. MAORI. Thank you for all you have created.

THE BEST beach on Chalkidiki
Jul 2015 • Family
With its tropical atmosphere, bamboo furniture, wood combined with rocks, sea and prevalent everywhere Asian spirit - all together makes "Cocus Beach Bar", which found a beautiful beach, "moored" to it and now invites you to plunge into the coolest summer. Best ever, just enjoy
