Good activity for everyone

Took my grandson and we had a great time. If you are planning on going more than a couple of times get the summer pass as each visit is a bit pricey.

This is a family favorite for us! We travel from the Kiowa (Colorado) area many times a year, JUST to visit this amazing zoo. We're also big fans of the Denver and Cheyenne Mountain Zoos, but, visiting the Pueblo Zoo is always SO much more enjoyable, because you never have to fight your way to see an exhibit. Its quiet,... I am amazed that this little city can support this fabulous zoo! The architecture is historic and quite attractive, and there is a great variety of animals. The otters are particularly fun to watch, but every time we go, we notice something different or interesting. (Lions playing, penguins being fed, baby animals, rattling rattlesnake, escaping turtle... to name a few.)

This is a smaller zoo than Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs, but just as attractive with a nice variety of animals to see. It's a zoo that I consider special. Children of all ages will find this a nice respite from a busy day or vacation. It is clean and reasonably priced.

We visited the Pueblo Zoo on October 13, 2016. We have a reciprocal membership so, it was half price admission for us. It was a cool, overcast day when we visited, so there wasn't many visitors, other than school kids on a field trip. The zoo is smaller, but very nice. We liked the red panda exhibits and the lion... Zoo is smaller, but a nice variety of animals. Penguins to lions, a farm animal area. A fancy building with displays, hyacinth macaws, snakes, and even meerkats. Zoo has picnic areas too and a little zoo shop. Plenty to see for an afternoon. Reasonable admission and plenty parking too.

For the size of the zoo this place is just special. I have enjoyed this zoo since I was a small child, am now retired and still find it a magical place to see such special animals.

Very well maintained and nice variety of animals. Given that there are two larger zoos within a couple hours away I feel this is a great zoo. The stroll through the zoo is very peaceful. Staff are great.

We liked the Pueblo Zoo very much. Not overly crowded like many zoos in larger cities. We spent a lovely morning in the company of children. The animals looked well-cared-for and their habitats were easily viewed even by the youngest. There was a snack bar situated at the perfect place to sit and take a break. Our only criticism was... Light on the amount of animals but those they have are great. Wonderful stroll. Cost is reasonable. Grounds kept very well with a city park just next door
