What a surprise to find this Great Stupa in the middle of the mountains. Although we couldn’t enjoy the entire mountain center due to a silent retreat we still enjoyed our visit.

This serene Buddhist retreat center was a highlight of our Colorado visit. Not a tourist attraction. A place of calm.

We spent most of the day visiting The Great Stupa and hiking around the area. Very pleasant. The Stupa is remarkable. They do have a cafeteria, even overnight lodging if you book ahead of time
