We recently rode the Telluride to Moab route in late June to early July. We made several calls when we were planning the trip and leading up to the trip and the staff was very helpful each time and didn't seem to mind that in...More

I coordinated this trip with 4 guy friends of varying mountain biking experience. On day 2, two dropped and rode 20 miles downhill to Montrose. They didn’t train enough. This ride is a mix of cross country and single track. Day 1-the alternate was challenging!...More

This is trip is not for folks that want to ride single track and mountain bike. It's almost all gravel road and dual track ATV trails. The huts are cool and it's a fun experience to cover that many miles, but this whole thing could...More

If you're looking for a mountain biking trip, do not consider this as an option!!! You'll be on a gravel-grinder road biking trip, NOT mountain biking! Despite San Juan Huts billing this as a mountain biking experience and "beautiful single-track" on their website, you're not...More

We did the trip from Telluride to Moab and it was just incredible. The huts themselves are well stocked, in beautiful locations and easy to use. The route between huts are the perfect balance of strain and reward. Would definitely recommend to others

This was a great mountain bike adventure for our group of friends. We opted for the 5 day Telluride to Gateway because we had already biked the Whole Enchilada last October. We called ahead last year and were told this route had more single track...More

We had a fantastic 5-day trip backpacking the Sneffels Traverse in the San Juan Huts in June. The views, spending the time in the San Juan mountains - it was just the experience we desired. San Juan Huts made sure we were well prepared from...More

When you think "bucket list", you should imagine a bike trip like this. 250-ish miles and 25,000-ish feet of climbing (GPS glitch increased our miles and climbing a bit) of challenging, technical single track to gravel grinder maintenance roads from Durango, CO to Moab, UT....More
