We loved wandering around Rifle Falls as the path is not difficult and the waterfalls and small caves. There is also a camping area and a small outdoor theater area that can be rented. My husband thinks it would be a great place for a wedding.

Nice view but the water was very stinky! Easy access from vehicle to see it though. Our family enjoyed it. The caves are right past it on the trails.

Its a bit of a drive once you get off of I-70. However, this place is beautiful. Not only do you have the three waterfalls when you walk up, you can hike around the whole area. There are several caves that you can explore, some that go far enough back you will need a flashlight. There are also some ruins... More

Great place to camp. Our site was beautiful, right by a creek. The hike to the falls is short but you can hike up and around the falls. Also on the hike you can explore the small caves left by the falls. The camp host was super friendly and helpful! Only draw back was no dump statiob and it was... More

I stayed in campsite #6, and feel it's the prime site of the campground! The river flows around the picnic table and fireplace. This makes it feel a bit more solitary in such a small campground. The walk-in sits are nice, too. The bathrooms need some additional attention as there were a lot of flies. Sites are tidy.

We were traveling with two dogs from Moab, UT to Aspen, CO. We just needed a place to get out, stretch our legs and let the dogs out to exercise. We decided to stop at Rifle Falls State Park. $7 Admission fee. You can drive right up to the picnic area below the falls. The falls aren't anything big (at... More
