Particularly large church for such a small village and what intrigued us the most is that the nave of the church is very wide relative to its length giving an almost square illusion. Good local history records as well

Lovely village church, with the usual attractive, ancient architecture, fixtures and fittings. Large stone font, and generally, a good atmosphere. Lovely little room created under bell tower for informal meetings.

Beautiful church to visit. Love going through the villages of England exploring their heritage. This church is beautiful and has a medieval air about it. It is open through the day, which is great as not all churches are unlocked these days for various reasons....More

Visited here after going to Hever Castle, so much history in the area. Plenty of information within the church but it was Heritage weekend when we were there so people were giving guided tours.

Nice church with lots of interesting history inside. Many stones commemorating local people going Bach to the early 1700's. Also many graves going back just as far. Visit Chiddingstone Castle then walk through the grounds to the village to see the church
