Beautiful building, lots of information about building and memorials to Streatfield family but very little detail about the work of the people of God and his Son, Jesus Christ - which is weird as, after all, it is a Church!

Directly opposite the gorgeous Tudor buildings, it’s a lovely old church. It would be decent to see the grave sites tidied up though. So much history there!

The church is the focal point of the village and stands opposite the Old houses owned by the Nstional Trust, very peaceful in the sun and the source of so much local history. Well worth a visit

St Mary's, built in the 14th and 15th C., was destroyed by lightning in 1624 and immediately rebuilt. Its main attractions are a very fine font (1628) with a massive oak cover; a pulpit (same period) whose book rest is carved with the head of...More

Well preserved church, fairly large for the small village it served. Built over many periods. The font cover is interesting, there are many memorials to the Streatfield family who lived in the house and is a beautifully kept reminder of what England used to be....More
