We visited the Gardens with a group and just had to return several days later alone early in the morning for a peaceful time. The gardens have varied planting beds and numerous opportunities for inspiration for home gardens. Light on formal gardens, which is good,...More

What a beautiful garden in the middle of town. It has many interesting areas that are clearly outlined on the map. We took a leisurely morning stroll through the garden and stopped to rest in the shady places. You have the option of staying on...More

A nice easily accessed area with shade and many nice gardens to look at. Immediately off the core trail and on the free bus line as well.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet of these beautiful gardens. We walked to it on a very pleasant riverside path from town. However, don’t forget the insect repellent! We got very badly bitten on our visit!

Right in the middle of town, the Botanic Park is a refreshing spot to wander. It is level -- which is a nice break from much of the rest of your Steamboat experience. The plantings are well described and a great place for photographers

We spent about 2h with a 4 & 7 year old. Lots of interesting things to see and investigate. Adults only would plan for an hour.
