Catch a ride to the top via the gondola. 25.00 per adult to ride all day. View from the top is worth the money. Sit outside and eat lunch with a spectacular view of the valley and Steamboat itself.

Not sure why a review is needed. This is how to get to mid mountain unless you take christy to thunderhead. Or hike it.

We really enjoyed the ride in the gondola. It is a great way to see the area from so many angles. The views were incredible, especially when you get out at the top. The price seems a little high, but combined with the Sunday brunch...More

Beautiful ride up & down the mountain. But we believe it's too expensive at $25 a ride. With a number of people in the family, it was pricey and weather changed once we got to the top so unable to enjoy. Weren't able to go...More

I ignored the reviews, because I wanted to live my own experience. Having said that, I enjoyed tremendously the nature trail. Honestly the price is a bit too much, for what there is to do. They shouldn't close so early in the summer. The sunsets...More

I was given a tip to get in line by 4:15pm and good thing I did. The line is several hundreds of people deep by 4:45pm. Tickets go on sale at 5 pm and you must ride up the gondola with your entire party at...More

Smooth ride up and back. The views are incredible. There are a lot of activities going on at the base of the gondola. A little pricey but our kids had a blast on the mountain coaster, tube slide and ninja course.

Easy to get on and off and Wow, what a View. As you ride you get yo see the whole valley below. Beautiful scenery from a comfortable covered ride. The ride is fairly smooth. There's a nice short trial to hike, mostly shaded. You can...More

Magnificent views from a clean closed gondola. The top has an very large open deck with food and drinks. Spectacular views of hiking trails, bike trails, snow ski trails, etc. Well-worth the price.

I know in the winter only service dogs for the mountain are allowed. Not sure about summer. I doubt it.

It would depend on what time of year you go. If your pass is still valid, then you are probably okay. If you pass has expired, then you will need to buy a gondola pass.
