The tour is short but very educational. The tasting of all the coffee and tea options is really good and fun. All the tasting is free except if you want to try the Luwak coffee but totally worth it. There is also a swing there that looked really fun. Nice gift shop to buy anything you tasted and also spicy chili chocolate bars that are great.

After visiting rice plantation called into here as only down the road. Entrance is free. You get a guide for approx 10mins who is knowledgeable about the whole coffee process and expects to be given a tip. Free tea and coffee tasting. Gave us a cup of Luwak coffee then asked for the cost of it which was 50,000 rhp. Single and couple swings here 200 & 300,000 rhp I think. Was only here for about 3/4 hour. Was ok n probably worth a visit. Place is nice with good views. Would recommend if close by but wouldn’t go there specifically.

Visited this plantation as part of a day tour we had around Bali. After arriving, you are guided along a path and show the plants growing which produce the coffee beans, pineapples, cocca, chilli and other flavours. They have luwak animals on site (where they get the pricey ‘poo’ coffee from) but they are secured in small cages which was a bit depressing and sad to see. At the end of the trail there is a seating area where you get a tasting tray of the different flavoured teas and coffees that are produced, plus the chance to purchase a cup of the luwak coffee for 50,000 rp. per cup. A small shop exists too so you can purchase your favourites plus there are oils, skin care products and chocolate to try out an purchase. A nice place for a quick stop with a view. There is also a swing if you are keen.

The view is great and you get to see the rice terrace, it is a peaceful and a nice place to relax.
Unfortunately, they exploit poor Luwaks who are closed in small cages and forced fed cherries so they can produce this type of expensive coffee. It broke my heart seeing them locked up.

This place is a joke, but a pretty bad one. First the guide will show you a couple of (yes, two) sorry trees at the entrance, telling which one is arabica, and which one is robusta, and a couple of aromatic plants, then you’ll see a poor luwak (the animal who digests the coffee beans) cramped in the tiniest cage he can fit in. Heartbreaking.
Then come the tasting of the different “coffees” and “teas” which have absolutely nothing to do with genuine coffee and tea. Think more of the cappuccino powder you buy at your local supermarket, with authentic flavors of coconut, vanilla and white chocolate. To make things worse I think they replaced the water with syrup, this was as sweet as candy, absolutely undrinkable. Couldn’t wait to get out of this tourist trap.

I really liked the coffee tasting plate they gave us! The garden area is beautiful and it's a nice place to buy coconut coffee and essential oils.

Our driver suggested we stop here on our way from Ulundanu Bratan Temple to Jatiluwih Rice Terraces. Reluctant at first but very glad we did.
Summary
1. Mini-tour of plantation - shown all the plants from which ingredients are taken to make a wide range of tea and coffee. Also brief explanation of the Luwak coffee making process (I think they offer a longer tour but we didn't have time).
2. Free tea/coffee tasting on a fantastic balcony with beautiful views of the rice terraces (see photo of 14 small taster glasses). You can also buy Luwak coffee buy the mug as well as any other coffee/tea on offer. There is a menu for various foods also. Luwak coffee is 50k/mug, tea is 30k/mug, we had a delicious fried banana dessert @ 50k. Not cheap but this is agro-tourism so I think money well spent and the setting is beautiful (don't forget they give 14 free taster glasses and also that Luwak coffee is the most expensive in the world anyway)
3. You can visit their shop and purchase coffee/tea/beauty products that are locally produced. No pressure on purchasing but again, it is a good sustainable cause and you get good products in return. We tipped young man 50k who had showed us around.
All in all, a very pleasant experience and a great way to chill out for an hour or two and try some authentic Balinese produce.

Not only amazing views, but engaged staff, informative. Tasting paddle - no other word for it - of 14 teas and coffees were amazing - and all we paid for was the Luwak coffee!
Worth it.

Stopped by here to have a nice view of the paddy field terrace, as recommended by our tour driver. It turned out, we got much more than just a great view. We were greeted by a very knowledgable staff who gave us a very informative short tour of the coffee planted there, as well as the process of making luwak coffee. I tried a cup of the luwak coffee for a very good price, & it tasted nice. Ended up buying a small package of it to bring home. The free tester of different kinds of tea & coffee is also one of the highlights of the place. They also sell light food to go with the coffee / tea. Very recommended place.
