Keeping your eye on the ball and off the towering peaks surrounding the Telluride Golf Club may be your toughest challenge when teeing off at this breathtaking course, perched 9,500 feet above sea level. This par 70, 6,574 yard, 18 hole mountain resort course is surrounded by the highest concentration of 14,000 foot mountains in the United States. While the breathtaking beauty may be a distraction, the altitude works to your advantage as Telluride's air creates less resistance against the golf ball during flight, translating to longer drives and breathtaking beauty.

Telluride is a beautiful ski resort with plenty to do for all ages. Plenty of on property restaurants, places to keep warm, ice rink and bungee/trampoline area for the kids.

We recently returned from a trip to Taos and Telluride over the course of one week. We went to Taos first and were met with great snow, great skiing and excellent service from everyone we met from parking lot attendants, to ski rangers, rentals and restaurant services. Unfortunately our experience in Telluride was not the same. Several staff we talked... More

I have been to most of the major ski areas in the U.S., and for me Telluride takes the cake. Forget the crowded ski areas in Summit County or in Utah: the extra journey to Telluride is well worth it. The scenery is unbeatable, and the whole vibe is just so much more relaxing. There is great backcountry skiing and... More

We played here in the fall and the scenery was spectacular! The cart path winds through the wood and the changing leaves made for a very pretty drive! The course itself is fairly short, and there weren't any holes that were particularly difficult. We really liked the elevated tee boxes and the views from them. It was in great shape... More

Really enjoyed this course. It had challenges but it gives you plenty of room for slightly off shots. Most holes are "what you see is what you get" I suggest playing the forward tees to have some extra fun

The scenic views may distract you from your game but that's ok, they are so beautiful. This is a challenging course but worth playing. You have to take your cart, no walking the course. Right now the range is under construction, but you can chip and putt.

We played here last week as a part of a stay and play package with the Inn at Lost Creek. They day we planned to play the course came to pick us up (it is very close to the hotel in the Mountain Village). The course is beautiful as is all of the Telluride valley. You have great views on... More

Played at the golf course last week while at the Mountain Village of Telluride. Played last year also and got drained by the sun/altitude. Last week it was still High but cloudy, stormy, and cooler. About 75% of the time it was light to heavy rain and some thunder in area. The rest of the time it was sunny. Go figure! The... More

We played at 3PM to get the twilight rate of $90 and had plenty of time to finish before 7PM. Course has a good layout and was fun to play without being too penal. Great fun!!

The views are incredible. The mountains rise up around the town and are covered with snow. In the Summer there are streams and lots of wild life. There's skiing for every level. My favourite ski run was Sundance, a single blue trail for intermediate- advanced skiers. There are restaurants on the ski trails that have good food. The people and... More
