This museum was such a great surprise. We were so impressed with the exhibits and the quality of everything showcased. The best part is the story of the 10th Mountain Division that trained in mountain warfare for WWII. The story is remarkable. This museum should...More

The part dedicated to the 10th Mountain Division is well done and has a small exhibit with a movie. The changes in skiing and riding equipment over the last 100 years is fun. Very informative layout of the becoming of the Olympics and how Colorado...More

We were lucky to visit the ski museum the first day after renovations. If you like skiing, the outdoors or history, you have to spend some time at the museum. There you can learn about the history of the area and the influence of the...More

This small museum is currently under renovation and most of the museum was empty during our visit, but the exhibit and film about the history of the 10th Mountain Division was definitely worth a visit. Looking forward to returning when their snow sports exhibits are...More

Nice museum - open to the public free of charge (although they do take donations). It was quaintly done and they had interesting facts about equipment and Olympic history (achievements by Team USA). They also had some great souvenirs - worth a visit if you...More

After four beautiful sunny ski days with perfect snow, we took a snowy, foggy day off and explored Vail Village. The ski museum is conveniently located in the parking structure. It is a real bargain in a town with few of low price options. We...More

I do not know the address, but it is above the Vail Parking Garage. There is a set of stairs facing Vail Village, about 3 flights going up to the Transportation Center and the Museum is at the top of those stairs.
