The Butterfly Pavilion offers 1 1/2 to 2 hours of enjoyable and informative fun for all ages. In addition to the large indoor butterfly garden there are lots of spiders and tarantulas. The outdoor grounds along the creek must be beautiful in the spring and summer!

Went on a discount day and glad we did. Wouldn't have wanted to pay full price. Not something to do as the focal point of your day but a good time filler. Parking is terrible and the gift shop is incredibly over priced. Staff was not very friendly either. Not something worth doing more than once.

We went to the holiday creatures at night event. It was good and kids enjoyed. Nice way to spend a cold evening. The highlight for them was holding the tarantula. There's a play area too that was fun.

What the butterfly pavilion does offer is nice but it is super small facility. Doesn't take much time to see the whole facility. Offers other reptile and insects to see besides butterfly's too.

Of. Purse there are the butterflies, but much more to see and experience as well. Salt water aquariums with fish, anemones, corals, shrimp and jellyfish. Terrariums with tons of different insects like stick bugs, beetles Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, several types of tarantulas and scorpions, bees and more. The butterfly enclosure has thousands of butterflies from all over the world, and... More

There are butterflies, and hundreds of them, so the likelihood is one would see butterflies they have never seen before. Their habitat is large, filled with beautiful vegetation, a pond, seating areas, and if you are into photography you need to be here. Please read the rules and don't touch the butterflies because the oil from skin can shorten their... More

Our family continues to go here through the years and it is great for the whole family. It is a place that has kept good staff and volunteers and has a ton to see. There are times that there is an abundance of butterflies and at other times it has seemed a little scarce but it is always a great... More

Really cool place to take kids or a camera or both. Lots to see and a great gift shop. The butterflies were neat. Flying around and landing on us. Great garden area.

Took my six year old granddaughter for a buggy experience and Grandpa enjoyed it too! Of course, the Butterflies are the stars! ( they release a new batch at 12:30 and 3:30 each day) Time spent in a tropical rainforest is a "trip away" on a cold Colorado day. Lots of other fun things to learn and do. Hold Rosie,... More

First off...the plant life and butterflies in this pavilion are simply gorgeous. Plan on spending most of your time inside the rain-Forrest type exhibit. The pavilion also has an insect area and very small oceanic exhibit. I would say those are average. Kids seem to like holding Rosie the tarantula (get a sticker as proof you held her!), but the...
