Great place to take pictures.

Really cool place to take kids or a camera or both. Lots to see and a great gift shop. The butterflies were neat. Flying around and landing on us. Great garden area.

Took my six year old granddaughter for a buggy experience and Grandpa enjoyed it too! Of course, the Butterflies are the stars! ( they release a new batch at 12:30 and 3:30 each day) Time spent in a tropical rainforest is a "trip away" on a cold Colorado day. Lots of other fun things to learn and do. Hold Rosie,... More

First off...the plant life and butterflies in this pavilion are simply gorgeous. Plan on spending most of your time inside the rain-Forrest type exhibit. The pavilion also has an insect area and very small oceanic exhibit. I would say those are average. Kids seem to like holding Rosie the tarantula (get a sticker as proof you held her!), but the... We have visited the Butterfly Pavilion on numerous occasions. It is very educational and young children love it. We visited their holiday light display several years ago and it was exceptional. This year, the outside lights were not worth the price of admission. All of the beautiful displays were missing. So, definitely go to enjoy the indoor displays, but this... More

I absolutely love the Butterfly Pavilion & Insect Center. I took my niece here and she had a blast. Our favorite part was being able to hold Rosie, the cutest tarantula you'll ever seen. Amazing staff and beautiful facility, we can't wait to visit again!

Spent the morning there with my daughter, and we had so much fun. She even convinced me to hold Rosie the Tarantula. The butterflies were so beautiful. Enjoyed our time, and my daughter was able to show off all she learned at school the following week.

While it is not a huge facility like the botanical gardens, with which it is associated, the Butterfly Pavilion is an enjoyable way to pass an hour or three. If you want to see neat exhibits, like the bees or the marine life, pet a horseshoe crab, or watch butterflies emerge from cocoons, it is a visually stimulating fairly interactive... More

I took my daughter who is 8 and her cousin who is 9 they both really enjoyed it. The star fish touch station was their favorite followed by holding Rosie the tarantula. The butterfly area is very enjoyable and warm. So can see butterflies in cocoons almost ready to hatch. Their are many kinds and colors.

Went with a little one and a couple of teenagers. The best part by far was the butterfly experience, we spent about 30 minutes in that part. The rest of the facility was interesting with bugs and small creatures in terrariums. We did get to hold a tarantula which was a new and semi-frightening experience, but we were brave and... More

If you are visiting Westminster Colorado; don't miss this attraction. I love to watch the wonder in everyone's eyes when they walk among the butterflies and then they watch them as they emerge from their transformation. The insect room holds all kinds of exploration. I love to view the honey bees. There is so much to see and learn about;... More
