So many other beautiful well managed spots to visit. Avoid this one - parking is ridiculous. People trying to save parking spots - standing in the middle of available spots “saving for a family member”. 🙄. Once parked find out only allowing 70 at a time and not allowing a distanced line at the entrance.

Not impressive
Aug 2019
The waterfall was much smaller than I imagined. So we were disappointed basically. I kinda liked the unusual harmony between a waterfall and graffiti though.

Unique and beautiful

This is an incredibly unique setting. I would say it’s off the beaten path, except it’s right under Hwy 24 in Manitou Springs. Some might say it’s ugly due to the graffiti (‘Graffiti Falls’), but it isn’t. Add a historic bridge m, and you have a truly unusual and interesting place to view the interaction of humans and nature. Be sure to put some cash in the donation box to preserve this space.

Beautiful Hike
Apr 2019 • Couples
My husband and I are average or slightly above average hikers and enjoyed this trip. Other reviews are correct, it is straight up and then straight back down which is what makes it a little more difficult but by no means impossible. We did not have our kids this time (age 6 and 8) but they could have done it. The two of us completed it including snack time at the top in about 3 hours. I would estimate an additional 30-45 min if we had the kids

Disappointment
Jul 2018 • Family
We had to detour to get there due to the senior open event. Once arriving at the place the detour sent us to, we were to board a shuttle with groups of people to go see the falls. Would have loved to see the falls but not with a hundred other people and on someone else’s time line. Nowhere did we see any indication of this being a group excursion. We left.

The graffiti is horrible. Falls themselves are beautiful

The other reviewers who stated that the graffiti "makes this place" and is "kitschy"need their heads examined. It's disgusting to mess up natural wonders like that. What the heck is the matter with people?! These pigs need to stay away from our beautiful natural places and graffiti their own ghettos.

UNder improvement

This site was known locally as "Graffiti Falls" because of the VERY extensive spray paint vandalism. El Paso County is currently cleaning up and improving the site and it should reopen Summer, 2018.
