This is a small park overall. But what it lacks in size it makes up for in experience. Easy access from woodland park. Great place to take the kids or grand kids fishing. Did I mention the view of pikes peak? Stunning.

We attempted to walk another area near the lake but there was too much snow so we opted for the lake and it was perfect! No snow, easy trail around the lake. Lots of birds great scenery.

You and your family can enter the park for a small fee. It is relatively small, especially the lake, It is an easy walk all the way around the lake. There are some interpretative signs. Two of our group saw a beaver building its lodge....More
